Good writer
Writing can be difficult in many ways and some might be good and might not be good at writing. Me I just so happen to not be to good at writing in my opinion. Writing is difficult for me I think because it doesn't interest me to write too other people. How am I gonna write something that me myself would be bored just reading it. It doesn't interest me and I see no future for me in it. That's the reason why I think I'm not good at writing.

I understand why people may not feel that they are good at writing, because I remember feeling that way when I was in high school. I do know that one of the ways I improved was by practicing the skill that I wasn't strong at. When I had to take the remediation English class at Allan Hancock College during my first year there, I was given the opportunity to practice writing a lot. Once I graduated from college, I also had a lot of practice because my job in sales required that I write/compose proposal letters to potential clients. Good thing I had an awesome mentor at my work who helped me with my letters. Once I wrote a few, then I was on my way to constant improvement and in my writing skills. I am not sure if I even liked writing at that point because it was just required in order for me to keep my job. I think I started enjoying it more when emailing became the norm and correspondence moved to a digital format. Thank you for giving us some insight into your journey of being a writer.
ReplyDeleteChristian you are a good writer and I think that writing can take you places. Nothing is hard or difficult unless you put your mind to it. Keep practicing writing you'll be good at it.
